Florence Schroeder, age 91, a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center, and formerly of Granite Falls, died Friday afternoon at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church with burial later that day in Immanual Lutheran Cemetery in Clara City. Visitation will take place from 5-7pm Thursday evening, with a prayer service at 6:30pm, all at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls. Gladys Capp, age 101, of Hendricks and formally of Porter, passed away on Friday, at the Hendricks Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 1pm on Saturday, Feb. 25th, at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Porter. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Opal M. Nevins, 95, of Appleton, died on Monday at Appleton Area Health Services. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church in Appleton. Brad Stensrud, of rural Clarkfield, passed away on Monday ar Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls at the age of 55. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 25, at 11am at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7pm at the church and will continue for one hour prior to the service. Myrtle Benson, of rural Granite Falls, passed away at Homefront in Montevideo on Monday at the age of 85. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 27, at 11am at Bergen Lutheran Church with visitation Sunday from 4-6pm at the Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.
